Riding Lessons and Horseback Treks
Our lessons are for children and adults, beginners and advanced riders alike. To ride with confidence and feel at ease in the saddle, we start with the horse itself: how it behaves and how it reacts.
Trek of Up to 3 Hours

From the ranch we ride through old forests and historic places to the Chernata Skala (Black Rock) natural landmark, where we stop for the views and for photos. We return on a circular route.

Full Day: Towards Samokov

We pass the Sefer Fountain (Boynata Cheshma) and ride through mixed forest to a small chapel of the Virgin Mary tucked into dense pine forest, where we stop for lunch and a rest. We return by a roundabout way used since Thracian times, with Rila in view, through the Pobit Kamak area, once a border post between the Principality of Bulgaria and Eastern Rumelia.

Full Day: Towards Beli Iskar

We ride to Chakarovi Polyani, once home to Chakar Voyvoda, one of the best-known Bulgarian rebel leaders, and rest by the river. If the weather allows, we cool off in the water while the horses rest. Lunch is on Smilitsa peak (1,380 m) above the village of Beli Iskar, with the view. On the way back we pass the Tsarska Bistritsa palace, where we can stop for a visit, and ride through the Borovets resort back to the base.

Before the Forest Ride in Borovets
- Runs all year round, between 10:00 and 16:00, by prior arrangement.
- Book your date and time at least 7 days in advance. The date stands once we confirm it; if the day is taken, we agree another.
- Minimum age 6, maximum weight 90 kg.
- No riding experience needed: the ride suits complete beginners.
- Wear sportswear and closed shoes. Sandals, slippers and open shoes are not suitable for riding, and in winter you will need warm clothes too.
- We send you the exact location coordinates after purchase.
