Itinerary
Days 1–3: Wizz Air flight to Malaga, a transfer of about 45 minutes to the Costa del Sol hotel and dinner. Day 2 offers an optional full-day trip to Córdoba with entry to the Mezquita at €76 per adult, and day 3 one to Seville with entry to the cathedral at €95.
Day 4: Gibraltar, with a short stop at Puerto Banús harbour in Marbella. The 17:00 ferry crosses from Algeciras to Tangier, followed by a panoramic drive round the city, dinner and an overnight stay.
Days 5–6: Chefchaouen, the blue town on the slopes of the Rif, then on to Fes. The next day brings a tour of the Fes medina, a UNESCO site, and an afternoon in Meknes with the Bab Mansour gate and El Hedim Square before a second night in Fes.
Days 7–8: a panoramic tour of Rabat, taking in the Hassan Tower and the Mohammed V mausoleum, and a night in Casablanca. On day 8 the group visits the Hassan II Mosque, with admission of about €14 paid locally, and drives on to Marrakesh for a tour past the Koutoubia and Jemaa el-Fnaa Square. An optional Fantasia evening follows at €70.
Days 9–10: optional excursions in Marrakesh, a half-day at Majorelle Garden for €55 with admission and Anima Garden with the Ourika valley and a Berber lunch for €90. On day 10 a transfer of about 20 minutes takes you to the airport for the direct Bulgaria Air flight to Sofia.
Included in the Price
- Flights and airport taxes, with airport transfers both ways. On the 9-night trip: Wizz Air from Sofia to Malaga and Bulgaria Air from Marrakesh to Sofia, with 20 kg checked and 5 kg hand luggage up to 40x30x20 cm. On the 8- and 10-night trips: a flight to Marrakesh and home from Malaga, with 15 kg checked luggage and an under-seat bag of up to 5 kg.
- 9 nights: half board in 3-star or 4-star hotels, 3 nights on the Costa del Sol, 1 in Tangier, 2 in Fes, 1 in Casablanca and 2 in Marrakesh.
- 8 and 10 nights: half board in 4-star hotels in Marrakesh (2), Casablanca (1), Fes (2) and Tangier (1), and in a 3-star or 4-star hotel on the Costa del Sol for 2 or 4 nights.
- The ferry ticket between Spain and Morocco, a visit to Gibraltar and guided sightseeing in Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fes, Meknes, Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakesh.
- A representative speaking Bulgarian throughout, and medical insurance covering up to €10,000.
Compulsory Extra Charges
- Local partner's administration fee: €15.
- Tips, handed over locally: €20 per person on the 9-night trip and €15 on the 8- and 10-night trips.
- A charge for fuel and emissions, announced 21 days before the flight.
Optional Excursions and Other Costs
- Seville with cathedral entry: €95 per adult, €66 per child up to 11.99; Córdoba with Mezquita entry, on the 9- and 10-night trips: €76 and €47.
- On the 10-night trip only, choosing one of the two: Granada with the Alhambra and the Generalife gardens at €100 (€82 per child, plus €2 for headsets on site) or Ronda and Setenil de las Bodegas at €88 (€53 per child).
- In Morocco: Majorelle Garden at €55 with admission, Anima Garden and the Ourika valley with a Berber lunch at €90 (€65 per child) and a Fantasia evening with a drink and show at €70 (€50 per child).
- Minibus to St Michael's Cave in Gibraltar, with a Bulgarian audio guide on the 9-night trip: about €45, paid on the spot. Seat selection on the Marrakesh–Sofia leg only: row 1 at €15, row 2 at €10, rows 3 and 4 at €5, a middle-row seat with extra legroom at €10. An add-on package that refunds what you paid if you are medically barred from travelling: €30.
The 8- and 10-night trips start with a flight to Marrakesh and run the other way round: Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes, Fes and Chefchaouen to Tangier, the ferry from Tanger Med to Algeciras, Gibraltar and the Costa del Sol, then a direct flight home from Malaga. On the 10-night trip the Costa del Sol stay is 4 nights, with optional Granada or Ronda on day 9 and optional Córdoba on day 10. On these two trips, Seville cathedral and Alhambra tickets are issued in your name, are requested and paid when the contract is signed, are not refunded if you cancel, and remain subject to availability.
