Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo, where you are met and taken to the hotel. The rest of the day is free, with dinner in the evening.
Day 2: A full-day trip to Alexandria for the National Museum of Alexandria, the Kom el Shoqafa catacombs and the Roman amphitheatre, with lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Cairo.
Day 3: The Giza plateau with the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus and the Sphinx, lunch, then the Grand Egyptian Museum, after which you continue to Hurghada.
Days 4–5: Beach days with two optional trips: a boat outing to an island (€56.75) and a full day in Luxor and Karnak with the temple of Hatshepsut and the Valley of the Kings (€110).
Days 6–7: Optionally, a semi-submarine trip on the Red Sea (€30) and Badawya VIP, an outing in the desert near Hurghada with ATVs, jeeps and camel rides (€65).
Day 8: Check out and transfer to Hurghada airport for the flight home.
Included in the Price
- Bulgaria Air charter into Cairo and home from Hurghada, airport taxes, 20 kg hold and 5 kg cabin baggage, airport transfers and the Cairo–Hurghada transfer.
- Two nights with breakfast and dinner at Pyramids Park Resort 4* or similar in Cairo, and five all-inclusive nights at El Karma Aqua Beach Resort 4* or similar in Hurghada.
- A Cairo tour in Bulgarian and a full-day Alexandria excursion, with entrance fees and lunch at a traditional restaurant in each city.
- Beach umbrellas and sunbeds at the Hurghada hotel, a Bulgarian-speaking representative and travel medical insurance with €10,000 cover.
Compulsory Extra Charges
- Visa on entry to Egypt: about USD 39, valid for 30 days.
- Fuel surcharge: amounts of €58 and €64 are shown for this programme, with the final figure confirmed 21 days before you fly.
- Tour service charge: USD 10, payable on site.
- Handling fee: USD 5.
- Excursion headsets: €15 in total (€3 per day), payable to the guide; no charge for children under 6, who do not use them.
Optional Excursions and Other Costs
- Luxor and Karnak with the temple of Hatshepsut and the Valley of the Kings: €110 per adult.
- Badawya VIP with ATVs, jeeps and camel riding: €65 per adult.
- Island boat excursion: €56.75 per adult, plus an eco tax of around USD 5.

- Maximum Security add-on, refunding what you paid if a medical reason stops you travelling: €20.
You will need a passport valid for a minimum of six months from the day you leave Egypt.
