Itinerary

Days 1–2: An evening flight to Lisbon and a transfer to the hotel. The next day a coach and walking tour takes in Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries, the Jerónimos Monastery from outside, Avenida da Liberdade, Rossio and Praça do Comércio, followed by free time in the Alfama quarter.

Day 3: A free day in Lisbon, or an optional full-day trip to Sintra, Cabo da Roca, Cascais and Estoril (€76). Coaches cannot enter historic Sintra, so local transport is used there at about €4, paid on the spot.

Day 4: The walled town of Óbidos, the monastery at Batalha (UNESCO) and the Atlantic coast at Nazaré with the Sítio viewpoint. Dinner and overnight in Coimbra.

Days 5–6: An included tour of Porto: the old station with its azulejo tiles, the Clérigos Tower, the cathedral, the Ribeira quarter and the Dom Luís I bridge. Day 6 is free, with an optional trip to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia (€76).

Day 7: Free time, or an optional trip to Guimarães, the Bom Jesus do Monte sanctuary and Braga (€51). Overnight near Fátima.

Day 8: Fátima, Tomar with an optional visit to the Convent of Christ, and Lisbon's Park of Nations with free time for the Oceanarium. An evening flight to Sofia lands after midnight.

Included in the Price

  • Bulgaria Air return flights Sofia–Lisbon with airport taxes, a small cabin bag of 40 × 30 × 20 cm and one checked bag up to 20 kg, airport transfers and coach transport on the route.
  • Seven nights in standard rooms at 3* or 4* hotels: three in Lisbon with breakfast, then one in Coimbra, two near Porto and one near Fátima with breakfast and dinner.
  • The Lisbon and Porto tours and the visits to Óbidos, Batalha, Nazaré and Fátima with a Bulgarian-speaking guide, and a representative throughout the trip.
  • Medical insurance with €10,000 cover.

Compulsory Extra Charges

  • Local partner's administration fee: €15.
  • Fuel and emissions surcharge: announced 21 days before the flight.
  • Driver's tip: €2 per person per day, paid locally.
  • Resort tax: €2–4 per person per day, paid at hotel reception.
  • Headsets for the guided tours: €21 (€3 a day), paid to the guide; children under 6 do not use them and are not charged.

Optional Excursions and Other Costs

  • Sintra, Cabo da Roca, Cascais and Estoril: €76 per adult, plus about €4 for local transport in Sintra.
  • Entry ticket for the Quinta da Regaleira estate in Sintra: €26 per adult, booked only before you leave Bulgaria.
  • Santiago de Compostela: €76 per adult.
  • Guimarães, Bom Jesus do Monte and Braga: €51 per adult.
  • Dinners for the three Lisbon nights: €133.
  • Maximum Security package (refund of the amount paid if you are medically barred from travelling): €30, which can be added up to 7 days after booking.

Optional excursions run with at least 20 participants. Their entrance fees, and those for any sights you choose to visit, are paid separately.
