Itinerary
Days 1–3: Turkish Airlines flight via Istanbul and check-in in Bangkok from 15:00. Day 3 is free, or join the optional Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun half day (€89), where the dress code rules out sleeveless tops, shorts, short skirts and open shoes.
Days 4–5: the ruins of Ayutthaya, including Wat Yai Chaimongkhon, Wat Phanan Choeng and Wat Mahathat, and a long-tail boat ride around the island, then Phitsanulok. Next, Wat Phra That Lampang Luang in Lampang and Doi Suthep above Chiang Mai, reached by 309 steps or the included cable car.
Days 6–7: a day trip to Chiang Rai with a stop at the Mae Kajan hot springs, Wat Rong Khun and the Golden Triangle. Then Wat Phra That Hariphunchai in Lamphun and the UNESCO-listed Sukhothai Historical Park.
Day 8: the Phra Narai Ratchaniwet palace in Lopburi, lunch and the drive back to Bangkok.
Days 9–13: fly to Phuket for free beach days. Optional excursions include the Phi Phi Islands (€112), a boat trip to James Bond Island (€112) and a half-day elephant experience (€86).
Days 14–15: rooms are vacated at 12:00 and the flight leaves at 22:45, reaching Sofia via Istanbul the next day.
Included in the Price
- Turkish Airlines flights via Istanbul with airport taxes, 23 kg checked and 7 kg hand luggage, the Bangkok–Phuket flight and transfers by licensed coach.
- 12 nights with breakfast in 4-star hotels or similar: Grand China in Bangkok (3), Imperial Phitsanuloke (1), The Empress in Chiang Mai (2), Sukhothai Treasure Resort Spa (1) and Deevana Plaza in Phuket (5).
- 5 lunches on excursions, and the visits to Ayutthaya, Lampang, Doi Suthep, the White Temple, the Golden Triangle, Lamphun and Sukhothai.
- A Bulgarian-speaking representative, local guiding with Bulgarian interpretation and medical insurance with €10,000 cover.
