Itinerary
Days 1–2: Land in Dubai and transfer to a hotel in Abu Dhabi. The next day brings a full Abu Dhabi tour: Qasr Al Watan presidential palace and the Sheikh Zayed Mosque with entry, a drive past the Etihad Towers and Emirates Palace, and a photo stop at Ferrari World on Yas Island. Then transfer to Dubai.
Day 3: Dubai sightseeing: Madinat Jumeirah with photos of the Burj Al Arab, the monorail along Palm Jumeirah, the Dubai Frame with entry, an abra boat crossing and the gold and spice souks.
Days 4–5: Miracle Garden, with about 1.5 hours to walk round, and the Global Village fairground, entry included. Next day, the 124th floor of Burj Khalifa, free time in Dubai Mall and a two-hour evening dhow cruise in Dubai Marina with dinner.
Day 6: An afternoon desert safari in Land Cruisers, six to a car: dune driving, a sunset photo stop, dinner at a Bedouin camp with soft drinks, tea and coffee, a short camel ride and a henna tattoo.
Days 7–9: Free days for the beach and the city. The Museum of the Future and The View at The Palm are optional, and tickets must be booked at least 40 days ahead. On the last day, transfer to DWC airport for the flight home.
Included in the Price
- Direct flights with airport taxes, 20 kg checked and small cabin baggage, and airport transfers by coach of about 2 hours each way.
- 8 nights with breakfast: 1 at Ramada Abu Dhabi Corniche 4* or similar and 7 in Dubai at a chosen hotel: Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai 4*, Golden Tulip Al Barsha 4*, MD by Gewan Premium 4*, Time Asma Al Barsha 4*, Arabian Park Dubai, an Edge by Rotana 4*, City Seasons Towers Hotel (Burjuman) 4* or DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Port Saeed 4*.
- Six excursions with the listed entrance fees: Abu Dhabi, Dubai sightseeing with the Dubai Frame and abra, Miracle Garden and Global Village, Burj Khalifa to the 124th floor, the Marina cruise and the desert safari, the last two with dinner and drinks.
- A Bulgarian-speaking representative for the whole stay and medical insurance with €10,000 cover.
Compulsory Extra Charges
- City tax at hotel reception: 15–20 dirhams (about 4–6 dollars) per person per night, depending on the hotel category.
- Administrative fee, which covers tips for drivers and local guides: 50 dollars.
- New Year's Eve dinner at Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai, Time Asma Al Barsha, MD by Gewan Premium and Arabian Park Dubai; the amount has not been announced, and for the other hotels it is confirmed on request.
Optional Excursions and Other Costs
- Museum of the Future and The View at The Palm: price confirmed on request; tickets must be booked at least 40 days before the visit.
- Extra ascent to the Burj Khalifa observation deck: 50 dollars per person.
- Maximum Security package: €35; the amount paid is refunded in the event of a medical ban on travel.
The same programme runs for both departures, 24 and 31 December, so the day on which you see in the New Year depends on the date you choose.
