Itinerary

Day 1: on 30 December, a direct Bulgaria Air flight to Catania, a transfer of about an hour to the hotel, a meeting with the representative and the included walking tour of Catania.

Day 2: free time or an optional full-day trip to Syracuse and Noto (€98). You see in the New Year in Catania.

Day 3: an optional trip to medieval Savoca (€75).

Day 4: an optional half-day trip to Etna and Catania (€90).

Day 5: check out, free time, then the airport transfer and a direct flight to Sofia.

Included in the Price

• Direct Bulgaria Air flights Sofia–Catania–Sofia with airport taxes, 20 kg checked and 5 kg hand luggage.
• 4 nights with breakfast at a chosen hotel: Katane Palace 4* or Romano Palace Luxury Hotel 5*.
• A walking tour of Catania on arrival day.
• Airport transfers, a Bulgarian-speaking representative and medical insurance covering €10,000.

Compulsory Extra Charges

• New Year's dinner at Romano Palace Luxury Hotel 5*: €135 per person if you stay there.
• Fuel and emissions surcharge: the amount is announced 21 days before the flight.
• Municipal tax, paid at reception and set by the local council.
• Headsets: €15 in total, €3 a day, paid locally to the guide; free for children under 6.
• Administration fee: €5 for the local office.

Optional Excursions and Other Costs

• Syracuse and Noto: €98 per adult.
• Savoca: €75; Etna and Catania: €90 per adult.
• Package refunding your payment if you are medically barred from travelling: €15.
