Razboishte is a quiet village in the gorge of the Nishava river, about fifty kilometres northwest of Sofia and eleven from Godech. Above it, on the cliffs of the right bank, perches the Razboishte Monastery of the Presentation of the Mother of God, whose church is carved into the rock itself.

It is one of the few rock monasteries in Bulgaria that are still active. We reach it on foot, and along the way views open towards the gorge and the river. The place is calm and well suited to a weekend walk, with a sense of history at every step.

After the monastery we carry on and beyond, to the corners nearby, which we explore depending on the season and the group. If you would like to come with us, write and we will tell you the next date.
