Negoiu and Moldoveanu, the jewels of the Romanian Carpathians, are waiting for us. Five days of hiking through the Carpathians, with ascents of the peaks Negoiu (2535 m) and Moldoveanu (2544 m), the highest peak in Romania, and nights by the glacial lakes Balea and Podragu. The level of difficulty is above average, so the hike is for walkers with mountain experience and good fitness.
