βͺ The feast day of the Razboishte Monastery of the Presentation of the Virgin
We will have the chance to be part of one of the most significant days for the monastery, a day filled with faith, tradition and living spirituality. β€οΈ
π PROGRAMME OF THE DAY:
We meet in the town of Godech at 10:00, where our guides will welcome you with a smile and good spirits. We share out the cars and set off towards the picturesque valley of the Nishava river.
βͺ Bukorovo Monastery of St George the Victorious
Our first stop is one of the most unusual spiritual places in Bulgaria, the monastery known for having five churches on its grounds. We will immerse ourselves in its silence, history and autumn beauty. πΈ
ποΈ Razboishte and the Nishava Gorge
Our next stop is the village of Razboishte and the impressive Nishava Gorge. We visit βͺ the Razboishte Monastery of the Presentation of the Virgin, and then head to the Cheparlentsi Monastery of St Petka.
And precisely on 21 November, when the Orthodox world marks the Presentation of the Virgin, we will be there for the monastery's feast day. π
We will see the unique church perched on the rock face above the Nishava, feel the atmosphere of the festive day and hear the story of this holy place from someone who knows it closely.
This will not be just a walk. β¨ It will be an encounter with faith. π An encounter with autumn. ποΈ An encounter with majestic nature. β€οΈ And an encounter with living history that stays in the heart.
