This time we head to Sokolets Peak, a place combining centuries-old Rila forests, impressive rock formations and views that stay with you.
The route is not among the hardest, but it is varied enough for a real mountain adventure. We pass through beautiful Rila forests, reach the rocky edge of the Balkans’ deepest glacial valley and finish with a panorama of Rila’s majestic peaks.

The best part? In places we simply need to pause, take a breath and let Rila speak for itself. ❤️
🥾 REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

• windproof and waterproof jacket

• long hiking trousers

• summer and winter hats
• head torch
• rain poncho
• walking poles
• sunscreen
• sunglasses
• at least 1.5 litres of water
⚠️ Important: Late November can bring winter mountain conditions. Snow, ice, low temperatures and strong winds are possible. Equipment must suit the current forecast and conditions on the route.
