Join us for an enjoyable, scenic mountain hike to two Rila peaks over 2,000 metres: Tashmandra (2,163 m) and Venetsa (2,069 m)!

We pass through quiet mountain forests, open ridges and panoramic stretches with impressive views over Rila’s vast landscapes. We stop for rests, photos and to try to identify the many nearby and distant peaks appearing before us.

And the best part?

We will be together, walk at an enjoyable pace, appreciate the mountain and have fun!

The duration is approximate and depends on the group’s pace, rest stops and weather conditions.

🎒 REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

The mountain requires good preparation. We recommend:

• hiking rucksack;

• sturdy hiking boots;

• windproof and waterproof jacket;

• fleece / warm middle layer;

• long hiking trousers;

• gaiters;

• gloves;

• summer hat and warm hat;

• head torch;

• rain poncho;

• walking poles;

• sunscreen;

• sunglasses;

• at least 1.5 litres of water.

Be prepared for rapidly changing mountain conditions. Even with fine weather lower down, the ridge can be very different.
